Perched high above the town of Tittmoning, the impressive castle offers sweeping views across the gentle landscape of the Rupertiwinkel region. Surrounded by peaceful forests, rolling hills, and traditional Bavarian architecture, the area is a picture-perfect destination between Bavaria and the Salzburg region.

The historic old town of Tittmoning, with its spacious market square and colorful façades, invites you to stroll, relax, and explore. From there, a series of steps leads down to the Salzach River, where scenic walking and cycling trails follow the river through beautiful natural surroundings.

From Tittmoning, you can easily reach many attractive destinations throughout the Chiemgau and the neighboring Salzburg region. The cities of Munich, Passau, Rosenheim, and Salzburg are also within easy reach for a day trip.

The apartment is located within the historic castle grounds in Tittmoning.

Arriving by Car
Free parking is available above the castle. From there, it's about a 150-meter (490-foot) walk to the apartment.

From the parking area, follow the street downhill to the castle bridge. Cross the bridge and enter through the castle gate to reach the castle grounds.
Inside the courtyard, you'll find the Burg Vier holiday apartment on the left-hand side, just beyond the large linden tree (House No. 4).

Please note that vehicles are not permitted inside the castle grounds.
For loading and unloading, however, you may drive up to the castle bridge (up to the "No Entry" sign).

Access to the Apartment
The apartment has its own private entrance. Inside the building, a separate apartment entrance is located on the ground floor.

The apartment extends across the first floor and the attic level and is accessible by stairs only. Please note that there is no elevator.
